Friday Faves – Suite 33 & Hope In A Jar

We have ONE WEEK left before we pack up our moving truck and make the trip to our new home in Charleston! Since it’s such a huge move (673 miles to be exact!), I’m being pretty choosy about what I take & what I’m leaving.
It’s been a 2 month long process of simplifying, selling, donating & throwing away stuff that has been cluttering our home! I even put myself on a ‘buying freeze’ to make sure I didn’t add any unnecessary baggage to our big move!
However, there were two things that I just couldn’t live without! This Ohio weather has my skin so dry. I moisturize at leasts twice a day but it’s still soooo dry. Ugh! (Here’s hoping Charleston weather is a bit nicer to my skin!)
I’ve tried different foundations but when I saw Philosophy’s Hope In A Jar I just HAD to try it! And guys… it’s amazing!

This extremely light weight tinted moisturizer is exactly what my skin needed! It’s a water based gel with SPF & I seriously don’t know if I am ever going to be able to go without it! It’s evveerrryyythhhing!
I use the 5.5 Beige color and it’s perfect for my skin tone. This isn’t a full coverage foundation but it does an awesome job of evening out my skin and keeping it hydrated!

As I’m going through & simplifying everything – I’ve decided that it’s time for me to upgrade some of my storage solutions throughout my home. (I mean plastic tubs & cheap cosmetic pouches do their job but where’s the pretty in that?)
I’ve been eyeballing some of the amazing Charleston based businesses (cause you know, support local #duh) & instantly fell in love with Suite 33, a Charleston based textile company. Her patterns are both beautiful & chic – exactly what I needed for my cosmetics!

I had already planned on purchasing some of her beautiful cosmetic pouches when she announced a SALE on some of her discontinued patterns & overstock items. I snagged these 2 gorgeous pieces without hesitating!
When they arrived in the mail, I honestly wished I would have grabbed more because they are even more stunning in person! The colors are perfect & quality is amazing!!! I’m currently coveting some of her fabrics (like this one & this one) to use for some projects in our new home!

I’m off to go pack up my make-up now! Things are getting real around here!!! xoxo!
